Dear Northcut Orthodontics Patients and Families,

The Governor of Washington has signed an executive order prohibiting non-urgent dental care until May 18th. In order protect the health of the public and preserve supplies of personal protective equipment necessary for frontline healthcare providers, we must comply. What this means for you:

  1. The office will be staffed 8am-noon on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays to answer phone calls, reschedule appointments and manage emergencies. Outside of these hours, the doctors will be on call as usual to answer emergency calls. Also, staff will be periodically checking the answering machine for messages.
  2. We are here to handle orthodontic emergencies. These include broken braces/appliances causing pain, infections, and lost/broken retainers. We cannot provide regular adjustments to braces.
  3. Starting Monday, March 23rd, our team will begin reaching out to you to reschedule appointments. The doctors will be employing tele-dentistry (video conference/texts) to manage some visits that can be managed remotely.
  4. We urge you to take extra time to keep your teeth really clean and exercise additional caution while eating hard/sticky foods to prevent broken braces/appliances.

We recognize this is a huge inconvenience. Please know that we are committed to keeping you comfortable and healthy. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this health crisis. We look forward to seeing you as soon as possible.

Stay safe,
Drs. Winkler and Jones and the Northcut Orthodontics Team
